IPL

Indian premier league is famous among people as the IPL. IPL is a based in India, it begun from 2008. It was a started to prompt the cricket more in India and it is private league. There were many private leagues before IPL too, it was a played at different level in England and Wales but it is not much popular among world. IPL was a started or initiated by Lalit Modi with the help of BCCI, which is governing body of Indian Cricket. IPL was a started keeping in mind the theme of the English Premier League that is a popularly known as EPL, is the football tournament. At that time there was another league going in India, i.e. Indian Cricket League to stop this League also IPL was a started. IPL become popular in its first season that was a played in 2008. The League became famous & hit in first season. There were many former player of cricket who did not agree to start this league but after many problems, it was started with grand opening in which there were 8 teams in first season. The name of each teams was kept has the respective city’s name. The players are a kept in auction in which owner of each team bid in the auction for player, the highest bidding owner take away player in their team. The auction is a held by the permission of BCCI.  

 

 

Ipl season -1

First Season

In the first season of IPL, there were eight teams. The teams were

1.   Delhi Daredevils

2.   Kings XI Punjab

3.   Kolkata Knight Riders

4.   Mumbai Indians

5.   Rajasthan Royals

6.   Royal Challengers Bangalore

7.   Sunrisers Hyderabad ( Deccan chargers Hyderabad)

8.   Chennai Super Kings

The first season was won by Rajasthan Royals which was considered has weakest team of season, but under the leadership of Shane Warne they won the IPL title. The Rajasthan Royals defeated one of strongest team of season Chennai Super Kings in the final. Brendon McCullum scored the century in the first match of season playing for Kolkata Knight Riders against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

 

 

Ipl season - 2

Second Season

In Second Season of IPL was a held in South Africa in 2009 due to election in India, there was lack of security so it was a transferred to South Africa. In this season, the teams were same

4.   Mumbai Indians

5.   Rajasthan Royals

6.   Royal Challengers Bangalore

7.   Sunrisers Hyderabad ( Deccan chargers Hyderabad)

Deccan Chargers Hyderabad this team was finish at lower rank in the first season won the second Season. The captain of Deccan Chargers was Adam Gilchrist, which was coach by Darren Lehmann. The Deccan Chargers won the final against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

 

 

Ipl season - 3

Third Season  

In Third Season of IPL, IPL returned to India. In this season the number, teams were same

The Third seasons were won by Chennai Super Kings this was their second entry to final first time they were not able to win but second time when they reached to final they got the IPL titles. They defeated Mumbai Indians in the final.

 

 

Ipl season - 4

Fourth Season

In the fourth season of IPL, this was full of controversies due to which Lalit Modi was removed has president of IPL due to some internal problems. There were two more team were added in the fourth editions of IPL. Numbers of team were a raised to 10 teams In IPL.

These seasons were full of dispute between owners of the teams and many teams owners were give notice to resolve their disputes and work out their problems as fast as possible. Between these problems, the IPL title was win by Chennai Super Kings second time in the row to clinch the title they have to defeat the Royal Challengers Bangalore and they defeated Royal Challengers to became IPL title holder second time in row.

 

 

Ipl season - 5

Fifth Seasons

In the fifth editions of IPL the dispute of owner continued and due to which one team were terminated i.e. Kochi Tuskers Kerala due to which there was reductions in number of the teams, which went down to 9 teams. They were

The season was less controversial compare to season 4th. The fifth season was also more Chennai super kings but there is always twist in the story the Chennai Super Kings reached final third time due to which many people thought that there is chance of Chennai Super Kings but there was Kolkata Knight Riders in this season who clinches the titles from the defending Champions Chennai Super Kings. The main role played in winning team was Manoj Tiwary and Shakib Al Hasan who played out a close match.

 

 

Ipl season - 6

Sixth Editions     

In this Sixth Seasons, there was no more controversy but there was dispute between Sahara Pune owners but it was solve quickly by BCCI, due to which it did not want further. There was change in the ownership of the team in sixth edition of Deccan Chargers that was purchase by Sun network and it was rename as Sunrisers Hyderabad. After the season was over there many players who were arrest for match fixing and due to which many former Cricketer were against this IPL and they even ask to close this IPL but at last, they were silent by the BCCI.  In this Edition, there were 9 teams

In this edition, too Chennai Super Kings reached final against Mumbai Indians. This was Chennai Super Kings third time in row in final but they were not able to win this final. In addition, Mumbai Indians won the IPL title and they defeated strongest team in IPL.
